In addition, the exhibition of the International Telecommunication Union in 2015 ITU Telecom World held bilateral meetings Minister of Communications and Mass Communications of Russia NA Nikiforov with his counterparts from Japan, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan.

The head of the Ministry of Communications of Russia met with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan Yasuo Sakamoto, Minister of Communications and high-tech Azerbaijan Republic AM Abbasov, and the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Abdul Razak Vahidi.

Nikolai Nikiforov discussed with AM Abbasov possibility of signing a bilateral intergovernmental agreement in the field of info-communications, prospects of cooperation of Russian and Azerbaijani telecom operators, as well as the possibility of signing a memorandum on reduction of tariffs for telecommunication services in international roaming.

 

 Participants of the meeting discussed the agenda of the biggest events of international level, which will include representatives from the administration of ties between Russia and Azerbaijan: 21 th Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Conference "Telecommunications and Information Technologies" to be held December 2-5 in Baku, the World Summit on Summit on the Information Society, organized by the International Telecommunication Union 14-15 December in New York and a number of other events.

With a colleague from Afghanistan NA Nikiforov discussed issues of regional cooperation and prospects of accession of Afghanistan to the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC), as well as cooperation between the two countries in the field of telecommunications and professional education in the field of information technology and communications.

 

 

 

Forum participants shared their views on innovative solutions in the field of ICT at both the national and international levels. Also, ministers shared political experience in solving problems and creating opportunities to increase innovation in quantitative and qualitative terms in the ICT sector, through which increases the growth of social and economic development. At the end of the conference, the participants expressed their gratitude to the host side of the business atmosphere created at the highest level.
