2-3 December 2014 in Astana (Kazakhstan) the meetings of the RCC working bodies were held: the 4-th meeting of the Work group on radiobroadcasting and the 5-th meeting on the Work group on the radiofrequency spectrum management Print

Seven RCC Communication Administrations’ representatives participated in the meeting: the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the RCC Executive Committee  and the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau.

At the meeting of the Working group on radiobroadcasting the participants discussed the issues of execution of the activity on standardization of the definitions of the parameters of the reception installations of terrestrial digital telebroadcasting for the purpose of coordination and preparation the appropriate Recommendation. Also there were discussed the needs of broadcasting service for the implementation of the perspective technology of the broadcasting service and television broadcasting in the 694-790 and 790-862 frequency bands, including the possibility of “Plan Geneva-06" modification and the proposals by the CAs RCC’s broadcasting service of the use of 694-790 and 790-862 frequency bands.

The participants have discussed the progress on the Working group of Radiofrequency spectrum joint report “The development of the long-term forecast of the development the perspective radiotechnology and its technical characteristics, as well as the identification of possible scenarios of the joint use of 470-862 MHz frequency bands (regarded to radiobroadcasting service)”.

The participants of the Working group on the radio frequency management took into consideration the projects of a number of working documents for the projects of References and Reports. The Working Plan project of the RFS Working group was discussed as well.

Within the framework of the Working group meeting the joint meeting of the Radiobroadcasting and Radiofrequences spectrum Working Groups was held.

Following the meeting, the Working Group adopted the agreed solutions.

In the conclusion  the participants expressed their gratitude to the communication administration of the Republic Kazakhstan for the excellent organization of the Working Groups' meetings and for the warm welcome.
